Our anti-discrimination policy applies to all aspects of our farm, including our rescue and educational programs, retreats, events, and day visitors. We expect all individuals associated with our farm, including volunteers, interns, staff, and visitors, to uphold this policy and help create a welcoming environment for everyone.
We will not tolerate any discriminatory behavior, including but not limited to:
Offensive or derogatory comments, slurs, or jokes about any protected characteristic.
Physical or verbal harassment, including but not limited to unwanted advances, physical contact, or intimidation.
Denying access to our farm or any of our programs based on a protected characteristic.
Making assumptions or judgments about someone based on a protected characteristic.
Any individual found to be engaging in discriminatory behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of their association with our farm.
We encourage all individuals associated with our farm to report any incidents of discrimination or harassment immediately to a member of our staff. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly and thoroughly. We will take appropriate action to address any behavior that violates our anti-discrimination policy.
